Configuring a PPPoE connection

You can easily configure your PPPoE settings for your Motorola MH702X using the WebUI.

Please note all steps below should be done on the MH7021 device labeled "Router".

1. Connect to the Motorola network.  On a mobile phone, the easiest way is to scan the QR code using your camera app which works on all iOS devices and most Android devices.  If you have Android and your camera app doesn't work then try Google Lens.

Note: in the images above you need to tap the link that has your network name in it.

2. Once you have joined the MOTO network login to the WebUI here

3. The username will be admin. Enter the password found on the back label of your Router and click the Login button.

4. Within the Basic Setup menu, you should see the Internet Connection section. Change the Connection Type to PPPoE from the drop-down.

5. Note, that the Username and Password will likely be provided by your ISP. We recommend you set “reconnect mode” to “always-on” or similar. The On-Demand and Manual settings would be for more specialized use-cases. For the other sections, your ISP will be able to let you know which you would need to fill out and will be able to provide the information needed.

6. Once entered, click Save to store your configuration.
