What is an SSID?
SSID is Service Set Identifier. It is the name of a WiFi (wireless) network that users see when they are scanning for networks to attach their devices to. SSIDs are a sequence of alphanumeric characters (letters or numbers), are case sensitive and can have a maximum length of 32 characters.
Example of an SSID:

Your Motorola modem/router SSID and Security Key is listed on the bottom of your device, on the white sticker:
In this example, this Motorola cable modem's SSID is MOTO1096 (for the 2.4G band) and
MOTO1096-5G (for the 5G band).
